i am in a funk
in 2000 i voted for gore
i did not think his campaign was great
but i know i did not want W
i thought it was clearly an issue with
florida vote counting or lack there of
that put him in office
in 2004
i voted for kerry
again he was not my first choice
i thought he should have fought harder
i was depressed
i wanted to crash into cars with the bush sticker on it
i lived in OH, i know there were problems with
voting machines
now here we are 2008
obama is not my first choice for democratic nominee
or my second
not sure he even made my list
i donated to the kucinich campaign
strength through peace
but the democrats silenced him during
the primaries
when he dropped out
i considered edwards and hillary
then i was left with hillary
a strong woman
admittedly i liked her better in the old days
when she was not baking cookies
but Obama is who they have
i tried to like him
to get caught in the wave
but from filibuster to a yes
vote on FISA
among other issues
i can't vote for him
i am sick of being left with the lesser of two evils
i started donating to nader
i like a lot of what he has to say
but will i be left with guilt for not voting blue
if red wins?
really it has me down
too many years of W
war
poor economy
pro oil
pro corporation
this
makes me laugh
